Publishing this post from a git repo

Testing the GitHub to Hashnode pipeline

Updated 1 min readMarkdown

This post started as a markdown file in a GitHub repository. A push to main sent it here.

What happened behind the scenes

  1. GitHub Actions picked up the changed file.

  2. The action parsed the frontmatter above and called the Hashnode API.

  3. The slug got recorded, so the next push to this file updates this post instead of creating a new one.

A code block, for good measure

const status = "published from git";
console.log(status);
